The Event Calendar is an on-line version of the Event Calendar in the Year Book. New items of potential interest to players and organisers around the county (rather than wholly local ones) can be added as time goes on.

Events are colour-coded according to the category they fall in.

For Yorkshire league match days a link to that date on the Fixtures page is provided.

For congresses and similar events a link to an appropriate website is provided, where known.

Organisers are invited to submit notices of forthcoming events (or merely links to their websites), and, if desired, an entry form which people can then download from this site. Different organisers will have different requirements, according to their own resources.

Organisers are invited to submit reports and/or results for inclusion on the website, should they wish. It is hoped the Calendar will, after the event, incorporate a link or links to reports and/or results on external sites or on this site. It is hoped some form of report will exist, one way or another, for every event listed, in so far as is possible.
