Common sense indicates it is incumbent on all constituent members (competing clubs) to send at least one representative to the meeting. That way the meeting can expect to be quorate this year. Anyone who has represented a club in the YCA League in 2017-18 is eligible to attend and vote, though team captains and/or club secretaries are obvious appropriate attenders.

An indication of numbers in due course to the secretary (Noel Stewart, noel338@btinternet.com) will facilitate adequate provision of refreshments.

If you have any proposal for “rule changes” then note article 12 of the Constitution:

12 No alteration or amendment shall be made to this Constitution or the YCA League Rules save at an A.G.M and only then provided:

a) that notice has been given in writing to the Hon. Secretary not later than April 30th preceding the AGM and

b) each proposal is seconded by another person;

c) that not less than two thirds of those present and voting are in favour of the alteration for a constitutional amendment, or a simple majority of those present and voting for changes to the YCA League Rules.
