York Junior Chess Congress 2018
This
event was run by the Yorkshire Junior Chess Association at York, on Sunday 22/04/2018,
and was the last of a number of events which together contribute to the
YJCA’s 2017-18 Yorkshire Junior Grand Prix.
As
usual there were four sections, Major (9 players), Intermediate (17 players),
Minor (17 players) and Novice (30 players): a total of 73 players, the same
as the previous event which was in Sheffield. The following results are
taken from the YJCA website (https://www.yorkshirejuniorchess.org/recent-events)
were the final Grand Prix rankings can be found.
Aditya Tangirala of Wakefield was winner for 2018
of the overall “Grand Prix”, which he also won in 2017.
