This event was run by the Yorkshire Junior Chess Association at York, on Sunday 22/04/2018, and was the last of a number of events which together contribute to the YJCA’s 2017-18 Yorkshire Junior Grand Prix.

As usual there were four sections, Major (9 players), Intermediate (17 players), Minor (17 players) and Novice (30 players): a total of 73 players, the same as the previous event which was in Sheffield. Aditya Tangirala of Wakefield was winner for 2018 of the overall “Grand Prix”, which he also won in 2017.
