Yorkshire Junior League
Following
up on the experimental first day
of the new Yorkshire Junior league, the second day of matches was held at
Archbishop of York's C-of-E Junior School, Bishopthorpe, York YO23 2QT, on
Saturday 3rd February 2018.
Organiser
Andrew Zigmond is grateful to Phill Beckett and Noel Stewart
for their support on the day, to Jonathan Green (headmaster) for
allowing use of the school, and Peter Cloudsdale for arranging the
venue. Andrew notes that the standard of play, particularly on the top
boards, was high throughout.

appears Heckmondwike and Huddersfield found the first leg of the competition
too gruelling, as they weren’t represented on this occasion. SJM.]
