The above event was held on Saturday 27th January 2018 at Middlethorpe Hall Hotel near York, with two sections, each run as a 6-round Swiss competition, with 20 minutes per player on the clock. It was organised by Peter Cloudsdale, assisted on the day by Charlie Weller and David Baren. Photographs of winners were taken by Robert Moneagle (except the one of himself?!).

Prizes awarded for the first 3 places, together with 2 junior prizes, which went to Aaron Rich and Joe Varley.
