This is a weekend congress commencing May 1 at 7p.m. and concluding May 3.  There are Open, Major and Minor tournaments. The Open includes a British Championship qualifying place for the highest placed Northern Counties player as well as the NCCU Open, Senior and Junior trophies. Prize money is guaranteed as advertised and may increase, pending sponsorship. Venue is the excellent Kings Hotel (Mercure) Darlington.  Special rates are available to competitors, Darlington itself boasts a wide range of alternative accommodations.  It is very accessible by train, bus or car.  Hence the choice of location.
