Yorkshire Junior League

Round 1


The first round of the second season of the Yorkshire Junior league took place at the St Robert's Club, Harrogate, on the afternoon of 10/11/2018.  Three teams competed, from Hull, Leeds and York.


Hull, in their first ever appearance, were the runaway winners with 15˝ points, followed by York with 8˝, and Leeds with 3.  The winning Hull team consisted of the following players.

Everybody involved was impressed with the high standard of play which shows how much talent we have in Yorkshire.  As ever, I am indebted to Phill Beckett for attending as chief arbiter, and to Noel Stewart and Cameron Funnell for their support with coaching and analysis.
