Pennine Cup

 

On Saturday 6th October 2018, the NCCU under-16 junior team event for the above trophy was held in the Music Centre at Ackworth School near Pontefract, West Yorkshire - a famous old Quaker school.

 

The holders Northumberland took on Yorkshire [there being no entries from other Northern counties – ed], and results were as follows:

Total scores after two rounds were level, so a blitz play-off was held, which ended in a 5˝-2˝ win to Northumberland, who thus retain the trophy.
