Darnall & Handsworth (Sheffield) FIDE-rated Rapidplay 2017
Intermediate (Under 145) Cross-table

Darnall & Handsworth’s third 1-day 6-round FIDE rapidplay, organised primarily by Geoff Brown, with Adam Raouf as chief arbiter on the day, took place on Saturday 01/09/2018.
The venue was again the club’s meeting place and match venue, Stradbroke Community Centre, Richmond Road, Stradbroke, Sheffield, S13 8LT, which (from my own experience) is not very well placed for non-local players relying on public transport.
Entrants participating in 2016 had totalled 82, and this rose to 100 for the 2017 event. For 2018, entries were down, very slightly, to 98.
Links above show results in the separate sections, gleaned primarily from the “Chess Results” website, but re-ordered by sum of progressive scores. Clubs will be added later, when there’s time, and prizes when known.
