English Counties' Championships
Semi-Finals
The
NCCU AGM in Leeds on 09/06/2018 extended hopes for success to the Yorkshire
and Lancashire teams playing in the English Counties' Championships at
various locations further south on the same weekend. This seems to have
done the trick, as all four Yorkshire teams won, as follows:

That
means 64 Yorkshire players will be needed on 07/072018, when the finals for
all sections will be played at Warwick Trident College, Trident Park,
Poseidon Way, Warwick CV34 6SW. In those finals:
Yorkshire meets Lancashire
in the Open section final, Lancashire having beaten Sussex 9-7 in the
semi-final;
Yorkshire meets Warwickshire
in the U-180 section final;
Yorkshire meets the
winner of semi-final Essex v Lancashire (being played 10/06/2018)
in the U-160 section;
Yorkshire meets Nottinghamshire
in the U-140 section.
No NCCU
counties are represented in the U-120 section final, but Lancashire is still
in with a chance in the U-100 section. Lancashire meets Essex in the
U-100 semi-finals on 10/06/2018.
