The webmaster receives notice of the annual Cotswold congress for advertising purposes, and although Gloucestershire as yet is not one of the Northern Counties, it seems not to clash with events up North, so it’s getting a mention again!

The 56th Cotswold Congress is to be held at The King’s School, Gloucester GL1 2BG, from Saturday 23rd to Monday 25th of May 2026, taking advantage of the May Bank Holiday to run a 6-round event rather the commoner 5-round version. All three sections are to be both FIDE-rated and ECF-rated.
