09/11/2025 Yorkshire v Gr Manchester: Open & Merseyside v Cumbria: Under-1850
The 2025-26 NCCU inter-county team championships continued with two matches, as above, played on 15/11/2025 respectively at Sheffield Chess Centre, 329A Coleford Road, Sheffield, S9 5NF, and the Jubilee Club, Slyne Road, Torrisholme, Morecambe, LA1 6NZ.
The Open section had originally been scheduled to be a three-way one-day Jamboree, but Northumberland decided they had not the resources to field a team, making the Open a two-horse race.
Cumbria was the first to get its team list up on the LMS system, showing they meant business!
