The second weekend of NCCU inter-county matches saw Greater Manchester and Yorkshire meet each other in the Open and Under-1850 sections at the British Legion Club, 32 Cheetham Road, Swinton, Manchester on Saturday 25th November.

In the Open section, Yorkshire won comfortably (8½-3½) due to a relative lack of depth in the GM team, but Greater Manchester won in the Under 1850 section in what was still a relatively close match (7-5). Merseyside were due to meet Cumbria in the Under 1850 section at Wallasey on Sunday 26th November, but Cumbria were able to raise only eight players and, in the event, conceded the match.
