Round 2 of the British Championship proper and the Major Open was scheduled for a 14.30 p.m. start on day 4 (Sunday 3rd August).

Day 4 saw the conclusion of the embedded weekend congress, which had four sections: Atkins Open, Penrose Under 2000, Soanes Under 1750, and Yates Under 1500.

 

In the Under 2000, Max Fyson of Lancaster was among those finishing 2nd to 4th equal on 4 out of 5.

 

In the Under 1750, Beyazid Kocak of 3Cs (Manchester) was one of two players finishing 1st to 2nd equal on 4˝ out of 5, while Ewan Herd of Hoylake and Bryony Eccleston of Bolton were among those finishing 3rd to 6th equal on 4 out of 5.
