The final round of this season’s Woodhouse Cup competition on 18th of April saw the match between the two leaders, Hull & East Riding A on 17 points and York A on 16 points. Had York A managed to win the match then they would have taken the title, but in the event the match was drawn, so giving the Hull-based team the title.

There is one match yet to be played, Ilkley Dragons versus Sheffield A. However, irrespective of the result of that match Sheffield A will end up in 3rd place.

In the I. M. Brown Shield, Sheffield B finished halfway down the table.

Neither Sheffield team is due for promotion or relegation.
