The 1st Paul Blackman Memorial Blitz was held on Monday the 15th of September 2025 at the Sheffield Chess Centre. There were 11 teams of 4, including one from a coffee shop (200 degrees) and a miscellaneous team created on the day from “spare” players.

The collection on the night (suggested donation of £10/team plus some other individual donations) raised £180 for Parkinson's UK.
