ECF Counties Championships 2026

 

 

 

 

As at 09/10/2025, nothing for 2026 had been published on LMS for the Counties Championships [finally updated April/March 2026], meaning in particular that the team entry fee for 2025-26 payable by all teams in the Union stage, not just those playing it the final stages, were unknown.

 

On 11/02/2026, the ECF advised that the dates for the final stages in 2026 would be as previously guessed, namely as follows:

On 04/03/2026, the 2025-26 Rules were published (see here), in particular saying the team entry fee would again be £24 or £18 according to the section, though we still don’t know whether the ECF will actually send out invoices for these fees, as they have not been sending out invoices in recent years!!  Hitherto, a specific request for the ECF to clarify whether invoices are to be sent out for recent and current seasons has not been answered.
