Sheffield Sub-Site

This site contains the following:

(1)

The Yorkshire Chess History website which used to be located at http://www.sjmann.supanet.com.

It has been transferred to this new location, and if nothing fragile has been broken in the move, then it should be the same as before.

(Anyone wishing to convert old ULRs to new ones needs to replace the former “http://www.sjmann.supanet.com/” with “http://mannchess.org.uk/”.)

This Yorkshire Chess History website has no official connection with the Yorkshire Chess Association.

Click HERE to enter the Yorkshire Chess History Website Home page, OR click on a link in the contents in the panel on the left.

(2)

The Yorkshire Chess Association website.  This started as a Yorkshire Chess Association Year Book website, which after its inception, immediately evolved to incorporate something more in the nature of
a Yorkshire Chess News website, and at the 2018 YCA AGM was adopted as the official Yorkshire Chess Association website.

Click HERE to enter the YORKSHIRE CHESS ASSOCIATION website.

(Later renamed Yorkshire Chess News website, after the new YCA management team decided they wanted something better,

though 4 months later nothing has materialised as the new YCA website.)

(3)

The Sheffield & District Chess Association website

which took over from that run by Brian Lever in October 2020

Click HERE to enter the SHEFFIELD & DISTRICT CHESS ASSOCIATION website.

(4)

A Doncaster Chess Congress website.

Click HERE to enter the Doncaster Chess Congress website.

(5)

The Northern Counties Chess Association website (from 08-20-2022).

Click HERE to enter the NORTHERN COUNTIES CHESS UNION website
