NCCU U-1450 Section Won by Yorkshire

The NCCU inter-county team U-1450 championship for 2021-22 was decided on Sunday 10/04/2022 when Yorkshire played at home to Lancashire at Bradford Latvian Club and managed a fairly comfortable win.  Yorkshire names and board results will be added when known in due course.  Photos are by David Mills.  (It is hoped to add games in later.)

As only the two counties entered this section, Yorkshire wins the NCCU U-1450 team championship.  Both Yorkshire and Lancashire teams have the right to progress as NCCU nominees to the ECF “final stages” U-1450 competition respectively as “N1” and “N2” in the pairings.  (As N1, Yorkshire is likely to meet a nominally weaker team than does Lancashire in the first round of the final stages.)
