The following group photograph appeared in the American Chess Magazine of 1898 (page 116).  It includes 17 of the 19 contestants, along with two of the organisers, Schwarz and Fahndrich: Back:  A. Schwarz, sen., C. Schlechter, H. Fahndrich, H. Caro, G. Maroczy, J. W. Showalter, G. Marco, A. Alapin, J. Halprin, D. G. Baird, A. Burn. Front:  Dr. S. Tarrasch, J. H. Blackburne, H. N. Pilsbury, W. Steinitz, M. Chigorin, D. Janowski, E. Schiffers, P. Lipke Of the players, Trenchard and Walbrodt are missing from the photograph.  Yorkshire-born Amos Burn is the weedy-looking individual at the far right of the back row.
