John Eric Addingley |

John Eric Addingley played in the Woodhouse Cup for Wakefield between the First and Second World War.
At one time he was pursuing a career in the army, but in later life was recorded as a tomato grower.
He was an older brother of the better-known Dr. Charles Gordon Addingley, under whose name is to be found more background to the liquorice-makers and chess-players in the Addingley family based in Pontefract.
