The peripatetic YCA Easter was held at Wakefield in 1952, from Sat 12/04/1952 to Tue 15/04/1952 at Youth House, Marygate, Wakefield.  G W Moses was chief organiser at the event; he and A Schofield served as round-by-round controllers.

There were 6 sections, 5 for adults and 1 for juniors, with 6 rounds in each section.

There were 37 participants in the adult sections: 36 men and 1 lady.  There were a further 7 participants in the junior section.  The single lady participant was Mrs Jacoba Ives of Pontefract.  Mostly on such occasions she was accompanied by husband Ronald Wilson Ives, but on this occasion he was at his workplace at a bank in Horbury.
