Manchester sent a team to play Bradford Chess club on 07/02/1903, over 9 boards, one game being played per board, with the following result:
Most, if not all the players, are recognisable as players who represented their respective counties.
A fortnight later, essentially the same Manchester team similarly visited Leeds.
