“Zytogorski” in Huddersfield |
|
The Chess Player’s Chronicle of 1855, New Series III, page 363, offered the following cautionary tale and warning. DURING the Michaelmas week an imposter appeared in Huddersfield, under the name of Mr. ZYTOGORSKI, who has not left London for a long time. A similar fraud was perpetrated, we hear, at Leamington and in other parts of Yorkshire. Our country readers cannot be too much on their guard against such an imposture.
