“Carlrayne”, Menston, the final abode of John Allison Heselton, is on Burley Road, Menston, facing eastward onto a track off Burley Road, called Carlrayne Lane, from which there is access by foot.  It is still a residential propery.  The name “Carlrayne” is carved into the stone of both gate-posts on the Burley Road entrance. Main entrance to “Carlrayne”, former residence of John Allison Heselton. Right gate-post. Carlrayne Lane runs off Burley Road, to left of “Carlrayne”, to a bridge over the railway.
