Non-Chess Life
The parents of Frank Reynolds Holdsworth were Edwin Holdsworth (born 1839/40, Sheffield) and Elizabeth Holdsworth (born 1839/40, Sheffield), who had at least the following five children, all born in Sheffield:

In 1888, Frank Reynolds Holdsworth married Florence Barson (born 1864, Derby). The couple went on to have four children, all born in Sheffield:
The 1891 census found Frank and Florence living on their own at 47 Gloucester Street, in the Broomspring area of Sheffield, about half a mile from Beech Hill Road. Frank was still a banker’s clerk.
The 1901 census found parents and four children living at 39 South Grove Road, Sheffield. Frank was now a bank cashier.
The 1911 census found the family of six had moved again, to 2 Park Crescent, Park Lane, back in the Broomfield area of Sheffield. Frank was now a chartered accountant’s clerk. Sidney was a clerk in some engineering and machinery context. Frank remained at this address to his death.
