2) Thomas Bolton (Rev.)
|
|
|
The Reverend
Horatio Bolton (5) was the son of William Bolton (4), who was the brother of
Thomas Bolton (6), who married Susannah Nelson (13) who was a sister of
Horatio Nelson (15), who was the famous British naval commander killed at
the Battle of Trafalgar and was reputedly Horatio Bolton’s
godfather. Horatio Nelson bore the name of a sibling who pre-deceased
him, as was not uncommon in those days.
