George Grimshaw was that brother of Walter Grimshaw who stayed at the family home at Liversedge, running the family business with his parents, and taking over after they died.  When these photographs were taken, the area of Liversedge Cemetery, off Church Lane, Liversedge, had been piled with tree branches and general rubbish produced, presumably, by other parts of the cemetery being tidied.

(See Walter Grimshaw’s grave, and James Grimshaw’s grave.)

The grave, after some tidying had been done.

The grave as it was before any tidying took place.
