Played at Leeds Chess Club, Kelsall Street, Leeds,

on Monday, 11/12/1882, in the evening,

over 6 boards, 2 games per board.

 

This encounter was between players selected from Leeds Chess Club’s “B” division and members of the much weaker Frizinghall Chess Club.  Frizinghall is at the south end of Shipley, just north of the Manningham district of Bradford.
