Home Narrative Organisations Events Games People Graves Buildings Competitions Trophies Made in Yorkshire Miscellaneous Sheffield Sub-Site	Bagdale House, not to be confused with Bagdale Hall which is number 1 Bagdale, appears to have been the modern 9 Bagdale.  It was in the ownership of the Trattles family but, after his marriage to the widowed Jane Trattles, Walter Grimshaw came to live there, and in due course commit suicide. Modern view of 9 Bagdale, Whitby, residence of Walter Grimshaw for the last decade or so of his life.
