Conclusion of Silver Rook

It is understood that the West Leeds v Dewsbury match, originally postponed due to snow, has been determined as an 8-0 win by default to West Leeds, who consequently win the Silver Rook. †(Click here for resultant final cross-table, which shows West Leeds clinching the title on game points.)

The circumstances are reportedly that repeated attempts to re-arrange the match were unsuccessful, that the match was claimed by West Leeds, that this claim was upheld initially by the Competitions Controller who awarded an 8-0 win by default to West Leeds, that Dewsbury appealed, and that the appeals committee upheld the Competition Controllerís decision.

(This is what the web-writer has gleaned, and is not a formal YCA statement.)
