Played at Manningham (apparently),

on Saturday, 07/11/1874,

over 8 boards, 3 games per board (time permitting).

The East Ward team in this match contained a number of players who played later for Bradford Chess Club.  Alfred Charles Padgett fairly soon moved to Cheshire, but the next five boards are all familiar as notable Bradford players.
