30/10/2023 New Doncaster & District Chess Association Website
Websites come and go, and Doncaster has been without a maintained website for some time now.
Things have now changed, and there is a new website which can be seen at
Whilst it does not seem to be stated anywhere, the webmaster would appear to be Sean McDonald, as his name appears at the foot of various articles etc., wherein lies the secret: a single person willing and able both to physically maintain the site and to create the material to put on it!
Interestingly, there is a link to the website of a Doncaster Junior Chess Club: https://doncasterjuniorchessclub.net/.
So, things are looking up in Doncaster.
