08/10/2023 Pennine Cup 2023-24 Manchester Chess Federation has kindly undertaken running the 2023-24 iteration of the northern counties’ under-18 team competition, and, after consultation with interested parties, Damien McElvenny has issued the following information to set the ball rolling. This season’s competition will be organised by Manchester Chess Federation (https://www.manchesterchess.com/). Date and Time: 11 am, Sunday 14 January. Venue: Fletcher Hall, Vicarage Road, Swinton, Manchester M27 0WA Format: 6-round Swiss Team Event, 6 boards per team, players under 18 on 1 September 2023, break for lunch after Round 2.
