Organiser Jon Hill
invites entries for the 47th Guernsey International Chess Festival.
Alongside the Open section, there is a Challengers section for those rated
under 1900 ELO, with 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for different rating bands,
which may well interest some more-adventurous hardened congress goers.
Between the two sections there are rating bands to suite all strengths (or
weaknesses!). Jon writes as follows:

The Guernsey Chess
Club & Federation will be holding the 47th Guernsey International
Chess Festival this year from October 15th to October 21st 2023
and I thought that it may be of interest to some members of Yorkshire Chess
Association Clubs.
