ECF Under-18 County Team Championships 2018

 

Players are needed to represent Yorkshire in the English Chess Federation’s under-18 county team championships in Grantham, on Sunday 25th February 2018.  “Under 18” means born after 31st August 1999.  Players must be members of the ECF.

10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Venue:

King’s School, Brook Street, Grantham, Lincs.

Yorkshire players:

Meet at 9.30 am in team room.

 

 

Sections:

Open section: teams of 12 boards (no grade limit)

(each with 2 rounds)

Minor section: teams of 6 boards, under 130 grade

Schedule:

round 1, 11.00 am to 1.10 pm

 

round 2, 1.30 pm to 3.40 pm

Time limit

55 minutes with 5‑second increments (digital clocks)

 

 

Refreshments:

some provided on site; suggest bring food and drink
