Yorkshire Pioneer On-Line League – Round 2 (of 3)

Results from round 2 can be seen in the results webpage.  (There is also a link on the YCA website home page to the LMS website.)

This event, despite the epithet “league”, is being run as a Swiss team event of three rounds among 8 teams.  It in part intended as a trial to test the popularity of on-line team chess.

A 3-round 8-team Swiss does, of course, in principle contain an embedded knock-out among the 8 teams, with the other teams also getting a match each round, and so there are enough rounds to find a plausible “winner”.

The primary ranking criterion is game-point total, not match-point total.  Thus in the result table Hull & DCA A are at the top.
