4NCL On Line League 2020-21, Semi-Finals

The semi-final rounds of the second season of 4NCL league-play on line was played on Tuesday 1st December 2020.  Chessable White Rose 1, in Division 1, was the only Yorkshire-based team to qualify for the semi’s, who played Wood Green with the following outcome.

Boards 1 and 2 were the last to finish, with the White Rose players needing to squeeze out a win somehow, but despite valiant efforts, two draws resulted.  The quaintly worded rules appear to imply that Wood Green wins on board count.
