Sheffield Chess Congress

The Sheffield Chess Congress was revived in 2023.  The previous series ran from 2011 to 2017.

 

The 2023 event was held (as from 2012-2017) at

King Edward VII School, Glossop Road, Sheffield, S10 2PW

over the two days Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of October 2023.

For the first time, the event was run over just two days not three.

 

Again for the first time, pairings were done by computer (Swiss Manager)

for which the congress is grateful to Simon Scott of Nottingham for his assistance.
