	31/07/2025 GM Simultaneous Display in Hull entries invited Hull and East Riding Chess Association (HERCA), in conjunction with Hull’s Freedom Festival Arts Trust, and as part of the “Remembering Amos: HERCA’s Play Chess Festival 2025” (Amos being Amos Burn), is holding a GRANDMASTER SHOWDOWN which is a Grandmaster Simultaneous Exhibition given by 2023 and 2024 British Blitz Chess Champion ELDAR GASANOV on SATURDAY, 30th AUGUST 2025, in HULL MINSTER Trinity Square, S Church Side, Hull HU1 1RR. The simultaneous exhibition will be played between 13.00 and 17.00. Places are limited to 30. Participation is by pre-booking only which can be made online at https://congress.org.uk/congress/627/home. The cost is £20 (£10 for juniors). There will be a prize for the first person to win, or if no-one wins, the first to draw, or if no-one draws then the last to finish. Spectators are very welcome – entry free. There will be chess sets and HERCA volunteers in Trinity Square all day as part of the Freedom Festival programme.
