Although games were not being broadcast live, ”PGN” links appeared for games in rounds 1 to 3 (later rounds 4 & 5 as well) on the webpage https://s2.chess-results.com/tnrWZ.aspx?lan=1&art=2&flag=30&SNode=S0&tno=1168814. The writer fairly randomly thought he’d look at the round 2 game Large 0-1 Shearsby. Things looked okay until he clicked on [>>] to play White’s first move. Bizarrely, this resulted in the following diagram:

It was evident that the all files except the a-file had moved one to the left. Meanwhile, the displaced a-file had moved across to the far right, and also advanced by one rank, so cloning White’s a-Rook and pushing Black’s a-rook off the board. Thereafter, playing through the game shows the move correctly if you use the new files and also remember White’s “a3” is advanced a rank and so is h4 in terms of correct notation. Trying the round 3 Czopor 1-0 Banerjee produced the same bizarre re-shuffling. Then, mysteriously, the PGN links stopped working, and clicking on one yielded the message “No game was found with this selection. Then they came back, but were the same as before. Somebody, somewhere (probably at Chess-results.com), was tinkering with something!!! - PS Looking at the page on the morning of Tuesday 26th showed the problem had been rectified, so you can look at all games from rounds 1 to 5, and any more added later.

That said, proper PGN files can be downloaded, and these seem okay. The intention is that some games will be added. To start with, here are the correct version of the above-mentioned Large v Shearsby game and the round-5 game Rees v Manmay. Click on a link to play through the game on screen:
